On September 8, 2023, an online conference was held to close the three-year international project
The V4 Humanities Education for the Climate. Diagnoses – Best practices – Recommendations [HEC], funded by the International Visegrad Fund. The project is coordinated by the Interdisciplinary Center for Research on Humanistic Education at the University of Silesia, and the partners are entities from the other V4 countries: Palacký University in Olomouc, Comenius University in Bratislava, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, and the Nationwide Polish School in Hungary.
The scientific conference was entitled “Humanities Education and Climate. V4 Operating Scenarios”. This time the event was hosted by Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. The purpose of the conference was to summarize three years of project activities and develop recommendations for pro-climate education at school and university levels in all V4 countries. There was also presented one of the results of the project – a monograph “Edukacja humanistyczna V4 dla klimatu – The V4 Humanities Education for the Climate”.
